Dog of the Month: January 2020 - Ripley

Ripley is a Greyhound. She is a sweet sweet girl, and her hair is sooo soft. I just couldn't stop petting her. She loved to run in the backyard back and forth with her cute little winter coat on. My biggest fear would be if she ever got out. Greyhounds are racing dogs, and can run as fast as a car. If she got out of my yard, I would never be able to catch her. Luckily, she had no desire to run. Of course, that is the dog boader in me. I would freak out if any dog escaped, but have no fear. My yard is secure. Ripley didn't like a lot of other dogs around, so she stayed in my daughter's room on her bed a lot. She did like to lounge quite a bit, and she loves the treats. Since it was Christmas during her stay, she got to wear the reindeer antlers and received a gift bag from Santa to take home. She is a joy to have. I am looking forward to having her again.
