Lukazz is Finally Home Sweet Home 8/25/19

We are both so happy and relieved that Lukazz made it back home to Nairobi. I sent him money to get a bus ticket home, and then I lost him.....for almost 4 days. I was freaking out. Had he taken off that moment he would have been home within about 24 hours. But he disappeared. I was worried. If anything happens to him...there is no way I would know, could help or anything. I would be in complete darkness and would have to assume whatever a mother's mind could imagine. Holy cow....I was so worried.

But then I got a message yesterday....."Hey Mummy. My phone broke down" I about dropped my phone trying to open the message. Holy shit!!! "LUKAZZZZ!!! MY BABY!!! I WAS SO WORRIED!!! I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE OKAY!" First thing he asks is "How is Colorado Springs?" LOL. It is fine, but I wanted to know how and where he was. Had he made it home yet? Where was he? Had he eaten anything lately? Was he starving? Had he gotten any sleep? I had questions!

He hadn't made it out of Kitale, but had a bus ticket. Not much had changed, and he couldn't wait to get on the bus. I couldn't wait either. I chatted with him, until time to catch the bus. He immediately passed out and woke up when he was almost there. He made it to Nairobi and finally to his house about 10 or 11pm his time (which was about two hours ago). Bedtime. Now he can sleep. Tomorrow....we will finally be back on track. Good food, and exploring his new hometown. I have already watched some videos on YouTube, and WOW. There are so many restaurants there, and I even found a movie theater. He has never been to a movie. So, as soon as he get's enough donations, we will finance a trip to the movies. I will have him take pics and critique his experience at the movie theater. Of course, I want him to have popcorn, movie candy and a giant pop too. What is a movie without it, right?

Tomorrow, we start getting down to some nitty gritty. I plan on doing my first video on the home management side. It will be in the Dos and Don'ts of Booking a Pet Sitter...as per request. Check it out, the information could come in handy for you later. We will see you there.
