Trip to Kitale, Kenya 8/15/2019

Yesterday it took all day for Lukazz to get to Kitale from Nairobi. He finally got there while I slept last night. We just talked while he rode the bus and for a short time he took a nap. But...

When he got there it was dark. He still had 12km to walk to get to where he was going. It was about midnight, and I told him to find a comfy tree to sleep under until daylight when he could see. So, he did. After a while it was bedtime for me too. I woke up this morning to find him at his destination.

My boy has no fear. He does what he has to do, without complaint. I am so proud of him. He wants that ID. It opens up so many doors for him. This is what he has to do. So...here we are.
